Alkaline batteries offer a more budget-friendly option than lithium, but do not last as long. 

As with all batteries, the lifespan is hard to estimate as will be directly impacted by how active the camera is, however customers can expect alkaline batteries to last for roughly 3-4 weeks with normal usage. 

Performance of alkaline batteries begins to drop at 5°c, only outputting one-fifth of their power below this temperature. We do not recommend using alkaline batteries in winter.
