Sometimes a customer may ask for a copy of their VAT invoice. These orders will have been placed through the website and you can retrieve a copy of the VAT invoice from Shopify.

The first thing to do is to check that the customer name or their company matches with the invoice (e.g. somebody from the University of Edinburgh asking for an invoice for goods sent to the University of Edinburgh).
The process for finding an invoice for something purchased on the website is quite straightforward:
- Open Shopify and search for their order number
- Select 'More Actions'
- Select 'Print with Order Printer (legacy)'
- Press print
- Change the Destination to Save as PDF
You can then attach the invoice to an email and send it straight back to the customer.
